                                                  Warren D. Parker, M.D.

                                                  Dr. Warren D. Parker, is licensed in the State of Texas and is a board certified neurosurgeon who has practiced in the Texas Medical Center in Houston since 1975. He was born and raised in Eagle Lake, Texas, and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Episilon fraternity. He received his M.D. degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his internship at the Ben Taub and Methodist Hospitals. Dr. Parker served as a captain and flight surgeon in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 and was commanding officer of the 454th medical dispensary in Korea. His neurosurgery training was completed at the Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals in 1975. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine and is involved in neurosurgery resident training. Co-author of "Surgical Outpatient Treatment of Cervical Radiculopathy," published in the July 1997 issue of The Journal of Neurosurgery, and in addition, he has published in Spine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Harris County Medical Society, the Houston Neurological Society, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. His hospital affiliation is The Methodist Hospital. Dr. Parker is active in civic affairs including service with the Chancellor's Council of the University of Texas System and the College of Natural of Science, The University of Texas at Austin.
