Dr. Alfonso E. Aldama-Luebbert is licensed in the State of Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University and graduated from medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. After completing residencies in general surgery and neurological surgery at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals, Dr. Aldama started his practice with the Neurosurgical Group of Houston in 1980. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine, where he is actively involved in the training of neurosurgery residents, and has active staff appointments in neurosurgery at The Methodist Hospital, Texas Orthopedic Hospital and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. Dr. Aldama is co-author of Intraarterial Cis-Platinum Chemotherapy for Patients with Primary and Metastatic Brain Tumors in Cancer Drug Delivery, and has published articles in Texas Medicine, Neurosurgery and The Journal of Neurosurgery. He is past president of the Houston Neurological Society and a member of Harris County Medical Society, Houston Neurological Society and Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons. Originally from Mexico, Dr. Aldama is bilingual in English and Spanish.
